Creativity-What we long to do-soul food
Whole foods-chicken sausage, 1 yellow pepper, 1 tomato, 6 eggs, a handful of spinach, and organic ghee
Sometimes we are dissatisfied by our creation because we feel that it could be better. There is always the practice. And even if it doesn't meet our standards, it is still creating and good for the soul. If we can leave the judgement behind and focus on the process instead of the product, we can find joy in our efforts. Sometimes, we don't allow ourselves the luxury of creating. We believe that we should be productive in a way that generates cash or our work is less valuable. But the way to increase the currency of the soul is to create. It is what many of us long for. Why don't we do it more?:
chop the tomatoes
I love the Whole Foods Chicken Breakfast Sausage. Add to this picture organic ghee, you'll need a tablespoon, and a handful of fresh spinach.
What keeps so many of us from doing what we long to do? Why is there a naysayer within? How can we avoid the roadblocks of any creative endeavor—be it starting up a dream business venture, writing a novel, or painting a masterpiece?
The War of Art identifies the enemy that every one of us must face, outlines a battle plan to conquer this internal foe, then pinpoints just how to achieve the greatest success.
The War of Art emphasizes the resolve needed to recognize and overcome the obstacles of ambition and then effectively shows how to reach the highest level of creative discipline.
